When you engage in local travel, you save money that would have otherwise been spent on expensive flight tickets and immigration. When you travel abroad, there are so many things that you are expected to take care of financially, from travel insurance, to visa, long distance flight tickets, and so on. These costs can be saved with local travel. The cost of local travel is much cheaper than what you would pay if you were to go for a vacation abroad. You do not have to break the bank to enjoy a vacation if you are travelling locally, and you do not also have to worry unnecessarily about how much variations would arise from the cost of things you need.
3. You Can Rinse and Repeat, more often
Let’s face it, some of us have had to save up for an entire year or two, just to have the vacation of our dreams, which is usually only limited to a few days. With local travel, it may be possible to travel more often and spend longer time during each vacation. You can travel on a friday afternoon, and return on a sunday evening, if you have to be at work on Monday morning. You can do this as many times as you deem fit if you are travelling locally. This way, you do not have to wait till your official leave from work before you can rewind and have a good time. Rest assured, after such a trip, you would certainly feel refreshed, reinvigorated, and motivated to work even harder.
